Technology Support Specialist


WCC Business Solutions seeks a highly motivated entry level IT technician that is versatile, and has a great analytical mind, and determination to further develop IT skills and knowledge. This position will be primarily assisting our customers with troubleshooting scanning, printing, and networking issues of MFPs and printers and assisting in new equipment installations. In this position, the individual will encounter many different network types, servers, and configurations so strong IT fundamentals are a must. 


Based in Clearwater, FL – WCC Business Solutions has been providing Multi-Function Copiers and Printers to the central Florida region for over 40 years. Primary Responsibilities
These duties include but are not limited to:

  • Provide Help Desk and Onsite IT Support for our customers
  • Use analytical skill to troubleshoot and resolve issues with Printing, scanning, faxing, networking configurations, and other IT issues.
  • Proactively reach out to customers to re-install / Troubleshoot Data Collection Agent (DCA) software when equipment is not reporting
  • Assist with new equipment installation, configuration, and driver deployment
  • Install and configure applications and drivers on PC / MAC
  • Call customers during onboarding process to conduct IT Pre-installation survey
  • Pre-configure Network, email, address book, and other settings on machines for installs

 Secondary Responsibilities:
These duties include but are not limited to:

  • Assist in supporting WCC’s internal IT infrastructure
  • Liaise between customer and the rest of the team for troubleshooting and issue resolution.
  • Provide product training to customers and WCC Sales Team
  • Use manufacturers websites and support staff to research and resolve issues
  • Grow product knowledge and earn new IT certifications
  • Attend training classes both live and web based when required


  • High School Diploma required
  • CompTIA A+ (or better) Preferred or equivalent work experience
  • Strong Fundamental IT understanding and skills
  • High level of professionalism & customer service
  • Strong interpersonal skills, able to communicate effectively with customers
  • Ability to effectively communicate (written and verbal) technical solutions
  • Must hold valid & clean driver’s license and have reliable vehicle
  • Must be able to lift 75lbs
