Do you have employees in your business who you depend on to keep the wheels turning? At WCC, our Contracts and Leasing Manager, Meagan May, is most definitely that person.
Meagan, who was our most recent Employee of the Quarter winner, has been with WCC Business Solutions for 2-1/2 years. She came on board as our Contract Administrator and last year moved into the role of Contracts and Leasing Manager.
Our Financial Controller, Eric Mishkin, shared “Meagan is an integral member of WCC. She understands our systems and processes and makes valuable suggestions on how to find areas for improvement. Meagan consistently delivers beyond expectations and Gordy and I both rely on her to help manage and run the admin side of our operations.”
We recently caught up with Meagan to get a better understanding of exactly what she does at WCC.
Tell us a bit about your day-to-day activities at WCC.
As the Contracts & Leasing Manager, I set up all of the contracts and review all sales paperwork to ensure it is submitted properly. I also get new deals funded through our leasing companies in addition to various other tasks.
Basically, it’s my job to make sure every I is dotted and every T is crossed so each deal goes smoothly for our customers.
What were you doing before you came to WCC?
I was in the home services industry for over 15 years and also in construction and utilities for a short period of time. Although there are many differences between my previous employment and what I do today, there are still some major similarities, such as overseeing the fine details of contracts and ensuring our customers’ expectations are not only met, but exceeded.
What’s the biggest change you’ve seen joining the team here at WCC?
The environment has changed. Gordy has built a foundation with an amazing group of highly motivated employees. Every single member of our team understands that customer satisfaction is at the top of their list of priorities, which says a lot about our company and how we treat our customers.
What are you most excited about that’s coming in the next year?
I am excited about the growth of this company and how we will continue to grow over the next year and exceed expectations.

How do you spend your time outside the office?
I enjoy sporting events such as Baseball and Football, kayaking, and taking my kids to Universal Studios as much as possible!
